Capers Thornbury

Capers is a restaurant, cafe & music bar located in Thornbury, Melbourne. The cafe’s theme is inspired by Mid-Century Australian-European style furniture, decor & furnishings. They serve up traditional home-cooked Cypriot & Greek specialties and have regular DJ’s playing from the front window.

As a good friend of the owners, they asked me to help them with design work for the cafe. I offered them a brand identity with visual elements which are contemporary, yet stay true to the Greco Roman theme of the bar. The colours and main logo type were chosen to match the romantic aura of the bar.
